Formed hinges can be made in
almost any desired shape or configuration. The forming is basically the bending
of the leaf of the hinge. The leaf is one of the two movable plates which, when
fastened together by the hinge pin, form a complete hinge. The typical
requirement in bending a formed hinge is to accommodate shaping the hinge to the
